This website has been created as a resource for parents and educators whose students attend Roosevelt Middle School, Lincoln Elementary School and Willard Elementary School in River Forest, Illinois.
Each of these parent/teacher organizations offers a variety of programs with the common goal of enriching the lives and minds of the children. Some programs offered enhance the school curriculum, some build camaraderie among students, while others raise money for the PTO which, in turn, is given back to the schools.
In the past few years, the three District 90 PTOs have raised money for technology improvements within the schools, such as interactive whiteboards and iPod Touches. Funds also have been used to improve outdoor playground space, to upgrade A/V equipment, and at one school, to create an appealing, functional space for an outdoor classroom.
